For some reason my original post has been cut to 1 line! Maybe it doesn't like line spaces...
I am running a iFlash dual adapter with 2x 128GB class 10 sandisk cards in (both genuine – ran tests on them to confirm). My logic board is an 80GB iPod classic version (2007), so I have tried to put Rockbox on to overcome the LBA28 issue…
So far so good…
I have installed emCore, and the boot screen loads (the screen where you can select ‘On/Off’, Rockbox boot, emCore Console or Tools)
When I select to boot Rockbox, I get the message ‘*PANIC* ATA: Error 80000003 while reading BBT (sector 0, count 1)
Which, I believe is to do with an MBR problem (can anyone confirm this?)
So, I have reformatted the cards (FAT32, with new MBR written) but Im getting the same error
Im running the latest Rockbox software
Any ideas for a fix on this?

Yea - resorted it back to OF for now, eager to get lockbox installed though

I googled that adapter, and they provide a special build which fixes support for their adapter.   Apparently the normal build won't work.  Are you running that?

Yea, these were the instructions I've been following, with no avail :-(

Im wondering if Lockbox has an issue with class 10 cards?  Or just wondered if there was a different .ubi file to try?  I get up to step 13 on those instructions.

No, as far as I know many of those flash adapters work poorly or inconsistently with our ATA driver.
