I think better not try charge player when it off. Charging in all Sanasa AMS players controled by software. So when player off charging process probably not controlled and can be not safe/incorrect.

Hi Mihail, with this statement I am wondering why you recently enabled "powering off" when charging?

You can turn off the player while charging. That will stop charging, rockbox has to be running to actually charge.

Good point :)

I check it right now: for both cases, with correct power off and forced (long press of power button in USB mode), behavior of charging same. It charging with low current 33mA on ~70% of charging and slowly decreasing. So it probably safe (if it completely off at end of charging).
