Ipod Nano 2 - no connection and other problems

I don't have another usb cable for the nano at the moment, but I ordered a new one. So I have to wait until it's here and then I will let you know if things are working again or if I still need some more help. Thanks so far... I'll be back! ;)

So I have the new cable now, but the error stays the same - i can't connect the nano to my pc any more. It still isn't recognized. So what can I do to get the nano working again?

Any ideas? Or is it really broken?
