Database Update and Playlist
« on: March 27, 2016, 03:17:00 PM »
I have been using my Sansa Clip+ for some time (more than three years) with no problems.  Previously the database had some 650 tracks, 420 on the player and 230 on the 32GB microSDHC (these are larger tracks).  I downloaded some new tracks yesterday and have re-initialised the database.  It found 680 files -  what I expected.  But when I go to Resume Playback, I see that the total file number is only 420.  I guess I must have pushed some button or other to get this result.  How can I get the Resume Playback screen to show 680 files and play all of them (it is set to random play)?  I should say that I can go to all individual files on both directories and they all play perfectly so there is no problem with the 32GB card.

I'm going to guess that you made that music playlist before you added those songs. So, all you have to do is add the new songs to your playlist. There should be an easier option though, like 'adding new songs to old playlist' , and then it will add the new songs to your old playlist. And maybe an option to either randomly mix it, or put it after your old playlist. If you made that playlist, and it's only recognizing the 420 only, then that's odd behavior. Perhaps you never added the songs from the microsd I'm not sure.
