Copying files - can only get a few then device disappears

Hello

When I plug my device into my computer it is detected, and I can copy files, but only a few. After a few minutes the copying process fails, and the error message indicates that the device is no longer visible.

The same thing happens in both Ubuntu and windows.

Any idea what the problem is?
