SansaClip V2: Display off right after boot

Hi,
I've got two Sansa Clip V2 players, both have current Rockbox snapshot installed. However, one of them switches off the display right after boot. Tried to find something about this in the manual, but couldn't find anything. Display settings are identical on both players.
Any idea what could be causing this?

You could delete the config.cfg file from the player to reset all settings.

Just the display turns off, or the whole device?
The battery could have come unseated. Mine has done that twice already but it's pretty easy to fix.
(EDIT: Just realized this thread is about the V2, not the +. Sorry!)
