"File Not Found" Possible mixed install, Ver. Confusion e260

Hello Gentle Members:
I hope you can help me out.
I'm not getting any younger & I sometimes forget.
I bought an e260 some time ago.
After some difficulty and some help from this forum I successfully Rockboxed it
Later on with some help, I formatted it and fixed it again.
I did "something" and now it tries to load Rockbox, I get a "file not found' message and it defaults to the Sansa (crumby) software.
I seem to remember updating the firmware from Ver. 1 to Ver2 at some point.
After several failed RB reinstall attempts I tried the Sansa Updater.
I got no balloon indicating that an update was available and the util refused to DL/Update the firmware.
Sansa Updater reports firmware ver as 1.02.24 which I think is Ver. 1

If you update the firmware that will uninstall rockbox. If you want to install rockbox again you can follow the instructions in the manual.

Also you have an e200v1, not a v2.
