Database Update Question
« on: January 13, 2016, 07:35:16 AM »
 I'm using a Sansa Clip +

I've just got a quick question about the database - when I add new music to my player, and then click "update now" under database, it will say "updating database in background". Is there any way to see when this is complete - a progress bar or something? I only ask as I'd usually like to add the new music to my playlist straight away, but have sometimes done this too quickly and ended up with only the songs which have been identified by the database added, with some others missing which have yet to be found.

 Thanks!

The 'debug' menu has an opition to show database building status.   That's what I look at.
(A progress bar on the WPS would be a nice option, though even if it existed in Rockbox I guess the WPS would have to be written so as to display it)
