Getting a new Clip +: a question
« on: December 31, 2015, 08:19:01 AM »
Hi there fellow rockboxers!

I've had a rockboxed sansa Clip+ for 2+ years now and it's by far the best mp3 player I've ever had and seen. Unluckily the headphones socket is getting definitely loose (I've resoldered it already), and so I was thinking to get a new mp3 player. I'd go for another sansa clip +, but I have a question to ask you: I've seen that 128gb cards work just fine on the device, but would the clip be able to handle a full (with mp3s, so a lot of tracks) one? I'm asking this because I've had some issues already with a 32gb card, like not seeing all the tracks (even trough the file browser) and seldomly skipping tracks before the end, but maybe they were my specific problems. Is there anyone using the clip with 10000/20000+ tracks without issues?

Thank you very much for your wisdom, merry rockbox and happy new year!

128GB isn't even that large, should work fine.
