ipod video 30gb (512) on LINUX

Hey there,

...m so far to have formated it like:
sdb1 = ntfs including the original ipod firmware (starts like ipod again)
sdb2 = w95 fat32 (make fat formated ... still this w95)

added the .bin file to sdb

Still rockbox utility wont process it: Konnte Ipod nicht öffnen. Zugriff verweigert ( x3)

The automated identification of mountpoint in the beginning has failed, so i pressed manually, probably thats the issue already... the online manual says: make sure to chose correct value but dunno what to do :/

solved it by not using rbutility but downloading the patcher.
