iPod Classic 6/7g - hold button not detected
« on: November 03, 2015, 07:14:05 AM »
I'm running the latest dev build (iPod video - d57e651) on an iPod Classic 6g (rev 2) and the hold button (while preventing the use of the buttons) isn't actually detected by the OS when pressed, which causes problems on applications that require this (e.g. Doom).

I notice that a bug has already been reported: http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/13023 and a solution has even been posted: http://gerrit.rockbox.org/r/#/c/1181/
Can this be confirmed incorporated into the next set of builds if possible?

I assure you that you are most certainly not running an iPod Video build on an iPod Classic.

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
