Clip Zip d57e651 fails at playing next track (cycling on one track)
« on: October 26, 2015, 06:04:12 PM »
SanDisk Sansa Clip Zip
FW: d57e651

it's not depend on random mode, and rebuilding database doesn't work. My guess is that both card and integrated memory are stocked (10 MB left on both)

EDIT: tried installing d57e651 firmware again, didn't fixed

EDIT2: or, to say simply, 'next' track is always the one that i'm started with, though there is more tracks in playlist

O_O

oh my God, i feel so stupid. But i have never turned repeat on! Thanks!
Ok, there is another one small issue, could be hardware, noticed rarely, sometimes it can mute for second or two

Kinda necroposting here but I've been away for a while, so:

It's highly likely that the quickscreen was the culprit here. It can be really easy to accidentally fudge the quickscreen items without even noticing it.

My typical flow is something along the lines of:
"Argh! Crap. Quickscreen. I didn't want this...bah!"
<mash buttons until it goes away>

Which almost always results in accidentally changing one or both of either repeat or shuffle modes.

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

yes! Tried to recreate it and noticed how quick you can change those modes. It's not bad, and i don't think it's need to be changed, it's more of user-side fault
