Any way to change this ?
« on: October 15, 2015, 01:05:50 AM »
I put rockbox on my iPod classic 160 GB 7th gen to be able to plug into my car radio (Kenwood DDX371) via USB but when ever i plug it in via USB the USB logo comes up on my iPod ? Is there anyway to disable that and have it play like a regular USB or thumb drive that i would plug in and it reads the files that i play ? If not it looks like my only option is to go back to the regular apple interface... :(

If you want to inhibit the device from entering USB mode, just hold down a key as you plug in the cord.

You can't have it present itself as a flash drive and still be able to use it at the same time; the USB driver needs exclusive access to the disk.

As a side note, the behaviour you describe is very much not "a regular USB or thumb drive".

The behaviour you see displayed now, however, is.

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
