Hello!
I use Rockbox for quite a while now and have always been very happy with it – unfortunately I recently lost my Sansa Clip Zip, and since it's not available anymore, I bought a used Sansa e280 (thinking it was a Fuze) to put RB on it.
Because I thought it was a Fuze instead of the e280, I chose the respective entries in the Rockbox Utility, including giving it the "fuzea.bin".
Rockbox got installed on the player, but booting it didn't work (it did boot the OF, though). It took me a while to understand that I was on the wrong track; when I did, I removed the patched fuzea.bin and /.rockbox from the device.
I'm describing this only because I do not know if this might have caused the actual problem I'm working on now.
--- Actual problem starts here ---
From what I have researched, it is possible to install Rockbox on the e280 by using the e200-Version of RB. After checking the OF-version of my device, I chose the e200v1-Version. When trying to install RB, I get this output:
Could not open Sansa
Could not open Sansa
Searching for Sansa
Permission for disc access denied!
This is required to install the bootloader
I have uploaded the full logfile here:
http://pastebin.com/ADSiSzN1The player is mounted and it is possible to write on it. In fact, I can run a "sucessfull" install with the e200v2-version, but afterwards I still can only boot the OF (/.rockbox is there, though).
How do I install the bootloader correctly on a Sansa e280?
