Hello, i'm new in this Forum and got a Question/Problem

For first: My native Language is german so sorry for bad English.

I got a Sandisk Clip Jam and want to install Rockbox on it because the Original OS sucks. I chose Auto-Select at the Rockbox Utility and it detected Sansa Clip Zip (Stabil)

"[ERR] Original Firmware Unknown, please try another Version. Tested ClipZipV1 Versions are: 1.01.12, 1.0.15,  1.0.17,  1.0.18,  1.0.20,  1.0.21."

"Konnte F:/clppa.bin nicht laden."

Thanks, Kind Regards.
Alex

saratoga:
There is no rockbox port to the Jam so you'll have to stick with the Sandisk firmware.

Aexxel:
Thanks for your Answer.

Do you mean there is no Rockbox Version for the Jam yet, or will there never be one?

monoid:
There is no RB firmware for Jam.

And it is hard to say, if there will be any. Maybe yes, maybe no. It depends on the users of Jam. If any of them decides to make a port (and suceedes), than yes. Othervise, no.

The answer is a little easier than that, a lot, actually.

With known available resources, a Rockbox port for this device is just absolutely not going to happen. EVen if anyone was even remotely interested in doing so, they would very quickly discover that.
