permanently set playback speed/pitch

(1/1)

peedoe:
I use my Sansa clip exclusively for audio books and love the ability to speed up playback so I can get through more books in the same amount of time.  However, it is very frustrating to have to set it EVERY time I turn the device on.  How can I set it once and have it stick?

TIA,
Peedoe

Theres no way to have persistent pitch settings without patching, but there's a quick way to load your pitch settings. Create a bookmark while your pitch is set. You'll have to load this bookmark whenever you want to load your pitch settings.

Here's what your bookmark will look like. I usually change the name of the file to point to a bogus file so I can load the speed settings without changing tracks.

--- Code: ---                             pitch
>3;4;8307581;9742;264569;3;1;10000;25000;/MUSIC/;filename.mp3
                                   speed

--- End code ---
