Sansa + Resume Playback issues

I've read through a number of threads here about this issue, and I'm still a little confused.  I've been fiddling with settings for a while to try to get Resume Playback to work with playlists on my Clip+. 

I've used bookmarks in conjunction with Resume Playback, bookmarks only, Resume Playback only.... I've tried a number of suggested tips and tricks. 

So far nothing has worked.  Every time I shut the Clip+ off and restart the playlists resume from the beginning. 

Unfortunately this is kind of a deal-breaker for me.  I love everything else about Rockbox, but this is such an essential and simple feature that I may have to revert to the original. 

I can post my config stuff later (don't have the player with me at the moment), if that will help. 

If this is just a known issue with no fix and no plans to repair.... well, that'd just be sad.

Well, after searching some more and noting the lack of feedback here on the technical forums, I'm left to conclude that the Resume Playback feature isn't functional for the Sansa Clip+. 

Which is a shame, really.  Rockbox is a much better system, but not being able to automatically resume a playlist from the point where you stopped is really a pretty standard feature. 

Back to the old Sansa it is!

Not sure if I understand you correctly, but just trying it now resume playback works fine.  Set this setting to "resume playback":

I've tried that.  Start Screen:  Resume Playback.  In a playlist it always starts me back at the beginning, no matter how long the original playlist is.
