Build error - virtualbox - No rule to make target

Hi all.
in virtualbox i make dir in root "/rockbox" and run command in dir "git clone git://git.rockbox.org/rockbox", then run in build dir "../tools/configure" choose -> 22(ipod video) -> N(normal)  and got error:

make: *** No rule to make target `/rockbox/build/apps/bitmaps/native/rockbox/buildlogo.320x98x16.o', needed by `/rockbox/build/rockbox.elf'.  Stop.

i try "make clean", get git again, error not gone, maybe later to try get git?

Can you paste the whole log and not just the one line?

today (a day later) i delete all and clone git in home dir, and everything OK

Possible reasons compiling errors

• i use SUDO for ex. "sudo mc" (is not need) folder in home dir
• try later one day to clone git
