application market?
« on: June 19, 2015, 09:50:47 AM »
I had an idea browsing the forum , a place to download on page
a section you can upload your application up and describe and screenshot of it
easier for the user with extension .rock (as an application store but free and on the website) :)

.rock files need to be compiled with the main binary, they aren't shared between devices.

What I meant by that is that you cannot download a .rock file and use it on your player.  Theres no need for a download page because there would be nothing to download.

Plugins are tied to both the target platform and software version. Also, every plugin that runs on a target is already included in the main build for that target, so there would be nothing to be gained from an "application market."
