IPod Nano 2G refuses to turn on

(1/1)

Quirby64:
Ello, first time posting here, but I've loved Rockbox on my IPod for the 3 months I've had it on it. But yesterday, the battery might have drained or something, and it's not turning on (I checked apple support for other things, but none helped). Knowing that this port of Rockbox has USB issues, I don't know what to do because I don't think I can charge it without going into disk mode, which I can't. Does anybody know what I could do?  :-\

EDIT : I just realized this should be in the "Unsupported Builds" section...oops. :#

Quirby64:
For further reference on the situation, I charged the IPod (or at least put the usb in) for the equivalent time it takes to fully charge it.
But it still doesn't work... :(

Quirby64:
Well, I just performed iPod surgery and took the battery out.
It was fully charged.  ???  Does this mean that I was the unlucky person who got all their data removed on an unclean reset? I haven't done any unclean resets, and I recall at least doing a clean reset 4 - 5 times with no crashes. How would I fix this?

Quirby64:
Well jeez. Haven't posted here in a while.
But ANYWAYS I discovered the issue! -- The screen is disconnected. I might put effort into trying to taking it off and re-attaching it. A better bargain than buying a new screen - It costs as much as the actual thing! :o
