"Searching" After Selecting a Track to Play

I have the latest version of Rockbox installed on a v2 Sansa Fuze. All 12 GB of music is on a SD card.

Whenever I select a track in the database for playback, a Rockbox message says "Searching". I have to wait for the search to complete before the track will play. Is there any way speed this up and just play the track immediately?

I also have Rockbox installed on a v1 Sansa Fuze with 20 GB on the SD card, and this doesn't happen.
