[Solved] Last.fm scrobbling suddenly stopped working
« on: May 29, 2015, 06:18:31 AM »
So it now appears that I've had a .scrobbler.log file since 02/06. I didn't make any config changes, just restarted a number of times (i.e., normal use). It was missing the proper headers; time will tell if that's repeatable. Strange.

Hi all,

First, I just want to say that I love this project. Been running it 99% pain-free for eight years now.

I'd been running the same build since last summer without a problem until yesterday or the day before. Now .scrobbler.log isn't being written to. I've checked that the Last.fm Log option is set to Yes -- and even tried setting it to No, restarting, setting it back, etc. I also tried 'touching' the file, but it remains empty. Any thoughts? I'm trying to figure out why this would suddenly happen. There have been maybe two times in the last year that the installation seems to have forgotten my options (e.g., for repeat, scrobbling, etc.), but I've just set the options again in those cases; this seems different.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The build details are below. I've since upgraded to the development daily, with no apparent effect.

Cheers,

John
