Install Bootloader on Cowon D2

Hi. I have no idea how to install the bootloader on The Cowon D2. What is mktccboot? How to use it? What is a patch? What is a binary? Thanks for your help.

I don't have a D2, but the manual says you can just use rockbox utility to install the bootloader.  Did you try it?

It's actually wrong, you can't use the rockbox utility. It's written here : http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/CowonD2Info#Automatic_Installation

Thats 5 years old, so I'm not sure I'd trust it.
