Attempting to install emcore/rockbox on iPod 6g with broken play button
« on: April 25, 2015, 12:14:38 AM »
I just refurbished a 160 gb iPod classic 6g. It boots and functions wonderfully in the stock OS, but I found out that the play button is broken, which would mean a logic board replacement. I wanted to install rockbox, but I need the play button to accept the terms before installation. Is there any known workaround to this? I have searched Google for about an hour to no avail. Thank you for any help.
