Hello,

is it possible to make, just like itunes has, a mp3 song play counter. And make a list according to the most listened songs? That would really be kinda great.

Rockbox has a playcount feature already, no?  But I find its not hugely useable because its only stored on the device, doesn' t combine across devices, and gets itself reset to zero very easily.

I agree it would be nice to have something akin to iTunes playcounts (posted about that already) but I guess its not really practicable with something like Rockbox that exists only on the device itself - you'd really need it to be integrated with an application on the computer your library is on i.e. something like iTunes.

Ideally there'd be something like a foobar plug-in that co-operated with Rockbox to maintain playcounts the way iTunes does, but I suppose that's would require a _lot_ of work in changing how Rockbox does things.
I'm resigned to giving up on playcounts for the sake of Rockbox's other benefits.
