PC-connectionproblem after rockbox-installation on sansa clip +
(1/1)
piet2:
Hi, After installing rockbox the program played well but when I connected the player with the PC there appeared a USB-picture on the screen of the player that won't disappear, whatever I try, and the PC doesn't recognise the player.
Could it be the bootloader. I thought I iinstalled it but now I'm not so sure about it.
What to do ????

Not 100% sure, but I think the question you are asking about crashes when using rockbox USB ?

Problem is over.
I put the player aside and the next morning I was relieved to see that rockbox was in play-mode again !?
Even the time-settings were up-to-date .
The problem occurred when I connected the player with the PC while I was playing the music.
PC recognizes the player now so I'm out of trouble.
Thanks for your reply.
About the installation: I read the manual and then I followed a you-tube instruction. I didn't realize that the option "bootloader" in Rockbox Utility, when downloading the firmware, changed to "not chosen"; that's why I think that it isn't installed. Can this still be done ?

Player sometimes crashes after enabling USB Mode. It's a well known problem for sansa clip+ when using rockbox. You need next time to force shutdown your player by pressing power button for around 15-30 seconds.
