I have followed the installation guide. I am currently running windows 7 64bit. My ipod works with orginal apple firmware.
I have made sure that enable disk use was enabled in itunes.
I download the rockbox utility and extracted it, ran as administrator as I am the administrator.
when the utility auto-detects my ipod it states 'could not detect a mount point select your mount point manully'. Although when I go to my computer it is their - myipod (f:). I have also manually selected my player, apple > ipod video 5th gen, I then checked bootloader with the rest of the options hit install, then I got the following statment 'error reading partition table - possibly not an ipod'. Note this only happens when I check the bootloader - I can install all the the other options fine.
I have aslo tried to install manually to no avail. I when to dev builds, download ipod video, extracted it, moved the .rockbox to the root of my ipod, I download ipodpatcher for windows, ran it it states 'no ipods found, aborting'.og file
I have upoloaded my log file.
Please help thanks.
