I want Rockbox to automatically use Mono channel when playing a certain folder

I have a folder of spoken-word MP3 files whose sound only comes out of the left channel. When I have my earphones on, my right ear hears nothing. By going to Sound Settings/Channels, and then selecting either "Mono" or "Mono Left", I can hear the talk in both ears.

I don't, however, want to have to manually change back and forth between Mono when I'm listening to this folder's audio, and back to Stereo when I'm listening to every other file on my audio player. Is there a way to have Rockbox be smart enough to do this channel selection automatically?

I have a Sansa Clip Plus running Rockbox 3.13.

I would probably just fix the mp3 files, but other than that I think the only work around is to force mono each time you play one of those files.

You can't do this without using a source code and some programming skills. Instead you can customize quickscreen that give you an easily and quick way to change that option.
