sd not being recognized
« on: March 21, 2015, 04:23:21 PM »
I installed rockbox because the regular firmware on the sansa clip zip could not handle a 128 gb card. I can use rockbox but it will not recognize the card. I can only access the internal memory. I reformatted the sd card to fat32 but  I still can not access the sd card. I am not tech savvy so any help that can  be given will have to come from that standpoint.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Does it work in the Sandisk firmware?

Yes, thank you. I didn't try before because the forum said that it would not work with the original firmware.

If it works in the sandisk firmware, then it should work fine in rockbox too.  What happens when you try to access it from the files menu?  No card at all is mounted?

correct, no card at all is mounted. It only shows the internal memory.
