flac files on Clip+
(1/1)
warpedman:
Hi, I bought a Sansa Clip+ some months ago and it had some problems reading flac files. When i tried to play a file with great size, or with complex metadata, it just skipped it and passed to the next file, or else, I could neither see the file, nor in the device nor browsing the files through the computer, there were just all the right folders, but they were empty. Somewhere i read it would fix up using rockbox, and so, after so many attempts, i got to install it and now it seems to work, but it shows the same problems about those files. The rockbox manual says: "Free Lossless Audio multichannel tracks may not play in realtime on all devices due to CPU performance requirements." What does it mean? And is there some way to fix the problem?
gevaerts:
Check the filesystem for corruption.
warpedman:
How do I do it?
gevaerts:
Depends on the operating system you're using.
