3.13 turns on shuffle mode randomly

Twice in the last day, the audiobook I'm listening to has suddenly jumped to a more or less random chapter despite what the playlist says.

both times I found shuffle mode turned ON.

i don't like shuffle mode, so I never use it.

how would it get turned on? Is there anything I can do to make it stop?

RockBox 3.13 on a Clip Zip.
