Huh...that's actually really neat.

Well done.

Unfortunately, it wouldn't work for me, as I use Ultimate Ears UE18 Pro reference monitors, and an iPod Classic strapped to a FiiO Mont Blanc E12a* IEM Edition. I'm not one of those science-denying audiophile nut-bags, I swear. I just like nice things and quality audio reproduction.

Your setup is really very cute. Its even cute with the stuffed cuddly-frog, but its even cute sans-cuddly-frog.

*I purchased the FiiO E12 shortly after the product launched, but I sold it off about three months ago and used part of the proceeds to get the E12a IEM Edition.

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

Whoa, that's a fancy amp!  My ears are probably too old to notice a difference with that, though ;-)

Here's the full album on how I made it (though it's probably pretty self-explanatory): https://imgur.com/a/FGYjN

Actually, this is the main reason I wish Rockbox had a "one-touch" mode. I'm always trying to push the button for pause/play/resume while I'm wearing them, and I end up in some other context :-(

Love it!  I have both the Monoprice 8323 headphones and a few Sansa Clips. Where did you get the right angle adapter and short cable? Couldn't find a short cable with right angle connectors on both ends? Also what's the white glue-looking stuff near the right angle adapter?

Connector cable: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008A81PT4/
Right-angle adapter: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000068O48/

I used Gorilla Glue to attach the right-angle adapter, instead of having it free.  The idea is that this would keep the cable from putting too much shearing force on the Sansa's headphone jack, which is notoriously fragile.  This is also why I didn't go for a double right-angle cable.

But, you could try other ways to attach it.  Someone on Reddit suggested Sugru: http://sugru.com/
I haven't tried that stuff, but it looks neat.

This is pretty awesome. I'll try to remember headphones like this next time I'm in the market. Don't think I can do this mod with my Bose's, due to the nature of it's detachable cable.  But I hate snagging, and I've been less than impressed with bluetooth.
