You seem to be confused.

The version you're listing (installer-ipodclassic-r859-20120102.ubi) is an installer for emCORE, a bootloader, not a Rockbox binary.  That is not the way you update Rockbox. This will do nothing useful for you in this regard. emCORE does come with a version of Rockbox embedded in it, but this only serves to act as a form of recovery image to initiate a USB connection. It is heavily stripped, contains no codecs or plugins, and as such cannot play audio. It exists solely to provide a USB interface during the initial installation of emCORE to provide a means of updating the Rockbox binary on the device's data partition, and to provide a means of recovery in the event that the Rockbox image on the data partition should become corrupt or otherwise unusable. Nothing more.

To update Rockbox, you must install a Rockbox binary for your device. That link will always point to the most current version of Rockbox available for your device.

Now, a few other important distinctions.

IAP (iPod Accessory Protocol) support for this device is very limited. Only a very limited subset of accessories will function with this device under Rockbox. It is incredibly unlikely that the pairing of these devices would function as expected even if the device were able to enumerate.

It seems likely that your head unit is detecting that the device is an iPod via the USB VID/PID, and deciding not to treat it as generic removable storage. There is nothing anyone can do about this in an official capacity at this stage. It is possible to work around this issue, but given your confusion already, I do not advise going down this route at all.

You do not need to change the battery capacity setting at all. That setting only changes the estimated runtime metering, which is wrong anyway. The default setting is the correct capacity for your device, leave it as it is. This setting does not change the functionality of the device whatsoever.

And finally,

You are using a build that the Rockbox project considers to be "unusable", it has many quirks, bugs, and unimplemented features, and we state this clearly on our main page. We do not even offer any officially supported means for you to boot the binaries we produce. You were only able to do so by using a completely unsupported third party bootloader (emCORE). Neither Rockbox for the iPod Classic, nor emCORE, are intended to be used by the general public.

Thank you for your explenation, so I need to redo the procedure to install your version of rockbox, and not only copy past the folder?
Or do I need to used another "emCORE version" to install the last version of rockbox?

and about the battery capacity?

[Saint]:
The Freemyipod documentation that you must have followed explains this pretty clearly.

You don't need to do anything with your emCORE version, once it is installed, a user will never need to update this unless explicitly instructed to do so. To update the Rockbox binary, simply extract the archive from the link I supplied in my previous post to the root of the iPod storage.

Regarding battery capacity, as explained in my previous post, you do not need to do anything. This setting only affects the estimated runtime, which under normal circumstances a user will never see, and which is incorrect anyway, besides which by default this is set to the appropriate value for your device. Just forget it exists. It is totally unimportant.
