problem ipod classic 160 7th + usb from yamaha RX-a820 receiver

Hi,
I would like to know if I can use the usb connection from my receiver with Rockbox install.
I have try before Rockbox, and it worked fine, but with Rockbox, I didn't finf a solution, is it possible? what settings I need? or plugin or something else, or just not possible.

If you have already updated Rockbox to a current dev build (which is highly recommended - the version that comes with emCORE in particular is ancient), you should be able to use the player like a regular USB stick.

If your problem is that the unit enters USB mode when docked and hence won't play anything, this trick may still work.

Could you confirm me what file I need, because I have try to launch the "rockbox-ipodvideo" without succeful, I think the last for my model. But I have found another from july which work correctly. With the new , I have a error message when it try to launch.

So could you confirm me what file I need:
- ClassicRockbox FOLDER => what version (if you have a link)
- installer-ipodclassic.ubi => what version (if you have a link)
- bootstrap_ipodclassic_itunes.exe
- something else?

I confirm I have the last version of the ipod classic 7th 160gb (slim)

I have install your last version (mine was from july 2014, not so old), and I have the same problem, my receiver see a usb connection when I plug and write "no device connected".
If I press "menu" when it start, same problem too.

what do you think about my version of "installer-ipodclassic-r859-20120102.ubi", is it the last one or not, I think I saw the v870, but I don't find a link to update it if necessary.

addition question, for the last ipod classic version 7th slim, what setting I need for battery capacity, 400, 500 or 850, i saw so many things and I would like to have the good settings.
