Sansa Clip+: Power on protection and low battery bookmarking?
(1/1)
gomezz:
Would it be possible to change the power on to use a press and hold (as needed for power off) rather than a simple press?
And would it be possible for an imminent low power switch off to allow for a bookmark to be automatically taken before it closes down as it does when manually powered off?
saratoga:
For the first question, probably not. Maybe it could be faked by modifying the bootloader to shutdown quickly if the button isn't held, although I don't know how the timing would work out.
I think bookmarks should work automatically even on power off for low battery, but its possible they don't.

I also dislike this behavior and use rockbox with attached patch.
