Does anyone know what the proper battery capacity for the 4G grayscale is?

When you say capacity... I'm going to assume you mean average battery runtime. In which case all I can offer is the wiki IpodRuntime page.

Actually, I meant capacity, as in mAH.

From doing some quick googling, 630 mAh seems to be the magic number.
