trying rockbox with stmp device?

any chance the firmware for one stmp3520/50 device might work on another namely canyon mp3soe?also in case it works can one expect better recording options in every case?

I had to google this, but apparently the stmp3520 is a very old 24 bit DSP system without a real CPU.  Its not possible to run rockbox on devices like that, you need a proper 32 bit CPU.
