turn nano upside down
patagon:
Hi,
I have big fingers and find holding my nano uncomfrotable (holding and accesing the click wheel that is). However if I could turn it 180 degrees, so that the headhpone cord is up, and the screen is below the clickwheel, that works really well. is there an option to turn the screen and controls 180 degrees?
thanks
that_asian_guy:
nope. it's possible though

thanks for the reply. I hope someone who knows about this considers doing this...people with big hands, try holding it upside down. your hand holds the ipod better and your big finger (sorry, dont know the englih word...I think its thumb) controls the clickwheel easily, without blocking the screen (at least thats my case, my hands look pretty normal).
there are some nice decals that cover all the ipod (invisible shield like) and have a clickwheel cut out with labels, so I guess one could stick that upside down and have labeled controls...unfortunately I cant find the place where I saw this.

Many of our ports already have the feature to flip the screen, but in their cases it's a feature of the LCD. It's quite doable for the iPods, but nobody's done it yet. It will probably be done before release though, since of course we like to keep features consistent across all targets where possible.
patagon:
thanks ;-)
