Still unresponsive for me no matter version of rockbox is installed or how many times I do it!

Does it improve if you ensure that all EQ is disabled, all crossfeed is disabled and you have no peak meters displayed?

What codec are you using when it's unresponsive? I have noticed that both speex and nsf formats are terribly slow in responding to keypresses. I believe that has to do with how the codecs themselves are programmed, but I haven't looked too closely at it yet.

Tried everything, still can take several presses.

Obviously something that will never get fixed. It's just MP3s I use.
