What was your first rockbox device

corfy:
My first device was a Sandisk Sansa e260. I bought that in 2007. I bought my wife an identical model not long after that and put Rockbox on it. They still work.

Well, mine is starting to get a bit flaky. I'm afraid it might be getting close to giving up on me. :(

Strife89:
My first Rockbox-able device was a Sansa c250. I got it as a birthday present in 2007, and it didn't take long for me to become frustrated with the OF - specifically, I liked playing my entire library in shuffled order at the time, and found that the OF's shuffle feature constantly repeated tracks, to the point that I suspected that it never changed the random seed.

In December, I finally got the idea to look for a solution - lo and behold, I discovered Rockbox in a Google search, spent nearly three days reading about it (I was irrationally terrified of permanently screwing up my Sansa), and finally installed it for the first time on December 28, 2007. I had to rely on the OF for USB support for a while, but once USB worked in Rockbox on that device, I never looked back.

Over the last eight years, I've since gone through a number of other devices - including an iPod Color and extra c250 (donated by a good friend); two Fuze v1s; an iPod Video; a Clip+ (which I still have); a Clip Zip (which is currently my main DAP); and an iPod Mini (my most recent acquisition). Every single one of them ran/runs Rockbox, of course. :)

I still hope to try out some of the other DAPs that Rockbox supports; I enjoy simply using these sorts of things, despite my ever-complaining bank account.

I currently don't run Rockbox on my Android devices; one of them is on Lollipop and can't run it, and on the others, the interface is a little clunky (especially since the navigation bar tends to overlap some of Rockbox's controls) and I have bad luck with it crashing at random - a no-go when I'm driving.

NostalgicNoah:
My first device was a Sansa E250.  It was a big upgrade from the original firmware.

Mine was a iRiver IHP-120, purchased in 2004, rockboxed 2005.
Today it is still working, with a RTC mod and a 32GB CompactFlash card. I don't use it anymore because the sound quality of my iBasso DX50 is remakably better. 8 Years of using rockbox on the IHP and later on the clip+ made me brainwashed, so I can only use devices supported by rockbox  ;D
I've also tried Cowon D2, Sansa Fuze and iAudio X5L but they don't have a special strength like the others:
IHP - versitale, good sound quality, good battery life, CF moddable, quite good recording quality, very good button layout, Optical out
Clip+ - SIZE, microSD-card, good button layout
DX50 - very good sound quality, exchangable battery, colorscreen

My first rockbox device was a iriver h320, that sadly died in the rain,
I then gave in and got a iPod 5.5, flashed it with rockbox, never looked back!
