So one of the mating connectors in my H120 popped finally. So i fixed it. Kinda.

I'd heard that the mating connectors between the ide/usb daughterboard and main board of the H120 can be problematic and "just pop right off" but i'd never seen it before.
Yesterday i was listening to some music and handling the player (plugged into the wall) when it spontaneously went into USB mode. At first i thought that the schottky diode i ran from the usb power pin to the wall power pin had failed, but this proved not to be the case.
I've had the ide/usb board off a couple times in the past for subtle modification without issues, so i desoldered the anchor pins again and lifted it off to find that the motherboard side of J1 was just kickin it free and loose. No damage to anything, but every single leg had lifted off of it's solder pad. Neatly and evenly.
So, I applied some no-clean organic flux and re-flowed it.
Before this all happened, it charged normally - eventually the green light would turn off and i would just be running on wall power.
Now, if power is hooked up it is always charging.
Stranger, when i pull the wall power plug, playback pauses.
I guess i must have bridged some pins so i will go back in and have a closer look, but I'm curious if i am in uncharted territory here or if other people have been down this road?
