Sansa clip+ and rockbox: usb and sdcard problem
(1/1)
Timo1979:
Good day, community!
Recently I faced with the problem with my Sandisk Sansa Clip Plus with Rockbox v3.13.
Sometimes it hangs, when I attach it to computer with USB cable.
Also, it sometimes don't recognizes as removable drive and hangs (need to loooooong press on power button to switch it off).
Also, it sometimes hangs, when playing mp3 from external sd-card.
But original Sandisk's firmware doesn't have any of the above problems on the same hardware!!!
I changed sd-card with no luck.
I tried different PCs and USB cables - no luck.
I tried to format internal memory and completely reflash both firmwares (original and rockbox) - no luck.
Did anybody face such problems already? What can I do to solve it&
Bryanhoop:
Try installing the latest firmware for your device under dev builds on the right side of the screen. v3.13 is very old.
Timo1979:
I updated rockbox to the latest developer's version for Sansa Clip+, and nothing changed.
I suspect my problem is hardware related, but original Sandisk's firmware works fine!
Oh, I forgot to tell that rockbox also shows wrong battery percentage - it shows less than it really is.
