Is there an "Automatic multi-resume feature"?

(1/1)

AnnanFay:
This page says it was committed into the main version, http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/11748 . How can I enable it? How can I install it?

I cannot seem to find similar functionality under General Settings->Bookmarking, Playback Settings nor Plugins. I am completely new to Rockbox and have skimmed the manual + googled.

I don't generally use this feature, but testing it out as per the instructions in that task it seems to do what you'd expect.  Once its enabled, if i skip to a new track and then go back to the original it automatically resumes where it left off.

AnnanFay:
In case anyone else came here with the same question. You NEED to play the audiobooks through the DATABASE interface.

I wanted to play my music through the database without auto-resume ('shuffle all') while playing audiobooks through the file system with auto-resume (sequential play by folder). Even though the resume settings are not under the "Database" settings screen you still need to play them through it.

No you don't.  It works the same through both files and database.
