Sansa Clip DSP datasheet (help needed)

Hello everyone!
I am really hoping for your help:
I am a student and I am searching for a cheap DSP unit with one I/O. My promotor suggested that I could use those in simple mp3 players. As I have few old Sansa Clips laying around I opened one up, just to find out it's Sansas own creation. As I can't find datasheet on my own, I would really like to ask you for help. I need to know how that DSP works before I can use it in my science project. Or maybe someone know some other cheap DSP units?

Modern mp3 players rarely use DSPs, but they do have arm processors. No data sheet exists for the newer clips but the original has one available on the wiki.

The chip is badged with Sansa's branding, which is common for large runs produced to order. According to the code the Clip+ and ClipZip use a SoC from Austria Micro Systems that's called the AS3525v2, this itself covers a covers a couple of different cores, the Clip+/Zip one being the AS3543 The datasheet for the AS3543 is here. Rockchip rk27xx has ZSP500 DSP core, Actions ATJ213x has ADSP-21xx clone with 24bit mode (WSP2416 most probably).
