Sansa Clip+ - Rockbox SD cards and audible
loreki:
Hello guys, I have a few fairly basic issues to which I can't seem to find answers. Forgive me, I've had iPods for years and being spoonfed everything seems to have turned my brain to mush.
The big plus (hurr hurr) with the Clip+ is the microSD slot but I can't seem to get anything on the card to show up in rockbox. To transfer files I popped the player into the Sansa firmware, selected MSC, plug it in, created a folder titled 'music' and began dropping folders from my music collection onto the card using windows explorer. Is there a trick I've missed?
A slightly more complicated one now: I understand that rockbox can't get round/through the audible encryption and that's fine. I was however hoping that I could keep audiobooks in my players internal memory and music on the SD card. The plan being that I could just reset my player into Sansa mode to listen to books and rockbox mode to listen to music. Is this possible? Is it as simple as that or again, is there a trick I've missed?
Thanks,
Lore

What happens when you browse to that folder?

It just doesn't show up at all to navigate to but equally windows explorer (and even the audible manager) can detect that it is plugged in and does have files on.

Ok so the question isn't about the files, but rather that you can't get the card itself working with rockbox?
loreki:
Yes, that's probably a more accurate way of putting it. Although the card itself is detected by other means it is not detected by rockbox.
