Escape key
saratoga:
I suspect you're doing something wrong, but its also possible your player is somehow broken such that the keys don't register correctly. Not sure how that would happen though.
Neil Parks:
I guess anything is possible, but with the plain Sansa firmware the keys all seem to do what is expected of them.
Neil Parks:
I have, after much intensive googling, just learned that a Clip+ running OF can do everything that I thought I needed Rockbox for.
With the old Ipod, I hated and despised Itunes. Switching to Rockbox was a no-brainer. Putting my audio files onto the player by simply copying them, and editing M3U playlists with a plain text editor--the difference was like night and day.
The Clip+ manual does not say so, but it seems that all Sansas can work with M3U. It's a secret that San Disk has kept well-hidden--even more well-hidden than Rockbox has kept the trap door into the pitch dark pitch screen.

(Although it isn't made clear, the M3U example file on that page assumes that the three mp3's are located in separate subdirectories named "1", "2", and "3".)
