Empty database
« on: October 27, 2014, 07:53:35 AM »
Hello, I love Rockbox and recently installed it on my Sansa Clip +. However, whilst all the songs play and are in File, none of them are in the database and I can not shuffle all. I'd appreciate some advice, thanks.

Two possibilities:

1 - Position

Where have you located these files? The database will not parse any files that reside in /.rockbox or any subdirectory thereof.

2 - Metadata

This database is driven by ID3 metadata tags, are your files tagged correctly, or at all?

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
