In that case, forget I told you how to fix the AAC files.
Instead just open the files in whatever you use on the PC and convert them to MP3 at 96 kbps. That will also fix the problem.

Sorry, didn't mean to tick you off.
I can load mp3's . I wanted to try an m4a as it's neater to only have one file instead of a bunch of mp3's.
