Nothing even remotely similar exists for either of these devices and no one is working on a port to either of these devices, to the best of my knowledge, no one intends to.

ok, thanks :(
At this point, which device do you think is bettere between a Sansa Clip+ or a Sansa Clip Zip?

They're almost identical hardware, but the Zip has a mediocre color screen while the + has a small but high contrast monochrome screen.

So about battery draining, audio quality, weight ecc.. they are almost the same?
saratoga:
Basically identical aside from the screen.

I just wanted to step in and give a little info to the original poster.
The problem with the older iOS devices (e.g. older generation iPhones and iPod Touches) is that Apple no longer allows current versions of Xcode to write software that will
work on the older versions of iOS that these devices run. The first gen iPod Touch was left in the dust with iOS 3.1.3 being its last supported version, which is now five major
revisions behind.
If anyone were to write a RaaA port to iOS, it'll end up requiring a much higher version of the system than what you can currently run. IIRC current versions of Xcode include
the SDKs from iOS 6 to iOS 8. That puts you out of luck, unless you can find an older version of Xcode with the required SDKs, and even there, only certain versions of OS X
can run older versions of Xcode. Forget trying to run Xcode 3 on Mavericks or Yosemite; it simply won't happen.
So in short, the only people who would be able to run Rockbox on iOS (if it does get ported) would be people who own newer iDevices capable of running newer iOS versions.
Older devices will sadly be left in the cold, unless someone else would like to take up the challenge of digging up an older Intel Mac, an older version of OS X, and an older version
of Xcode with the SDKs available for older iDevices. Sadly, that looks to be an unlikely scenario.
In further short, unless someone is really will to put up with Apple's oddball SDK design to work on a port, that may not happen, either. But I never say never... someone will want it bad enough to work on it.
