Fadeout on sleep timer

(1/2) > >>

milpop:
Hello. As I am using lately the sleep timer function a lot, falling to sleep while listening to my favorite music, I was thinking about implementing two functions.
You know, even when you're already asleep, sudden interruption of the music can wake you up again.

So:

1. Option to fadeout current track and then poweroff
2. Option to postpone poweroff until current track is over (poweroff before the next track)

What do you think? It doesn't sound hard to implement.

Take care.

This might be a useful option, independent of whether the power off was initiated by sleep timer or whatever.

Do you have any code examples that support this hypothesis? ;)

nick_p:
Have you tried Playback Settings > Fade on Stop/Pause? It worked for me in the simulator when the sleep timer came into effect.

milpop:
I already have active fade on stop/pause. However, this is a relatively short fadeout, while a "natural" song fadeout could be like 20 seconds.
I don't see a connection between these two functions.

Regards.

nick_p:
The connection is a stop is performed before a power off.
